    Caroline,

This sounds like a fun event!

This idea of everyone offering their idea in a hat anonymously takes the pressure off and allows people who otherwise might think their idea is stupid or silly (or they are otherwise too embarrassed to speak up) to open and expand their minds to participate.

I cannot come this time (but I think I may steal your idea!) because I am hosting a Biznik event on the same day

Have fun, Caroline. I know it's going to be a blast!

Tshombe; Thank you for your response and for "getting" the concept. Feel free to steal!

Best of luck on your event. If you have an idea I can present let me know and I will put it in for you.

Hopefully we will get together soon. Caroline

Caroline, Thanks so much for the invite. I am travelling without my daytimer but I think it's best for me to stay local next week after being away so much this month. Keep me on your invite list! I'd love to meet in person. Still no word from Diane. I did leave her a message. Any idea what her timetable is? Cheers! Meredith

I know she is moving into my rental starting 9/1 so maybe she want to wait until she is out. I know she is planning to list with you. If you get a wild hair come on down and attend.

At the last moment, I decided to attend. Caroline does a wonderful event and the sealed envelope premise was very fun. Really great people attended-once again biznik people are the best.

Beautiful new restaurant-TerraCotta in Everett is just stunning. Food and service were both excellent, a nice addition to the North End.

Congratulations to Caroline for finding and bringing us all there.

Caroline asked for one thing-for us all to send her son a letter. He is currently on a heavily bombed ship in Afghanistan. Please go to her profile, get all the information and do it! What a position to be in, worrying about your child on a battlefield. Makes everything else pale in contrast.

Thank you so much for the nice reivew. I just want to make one thing clear. My son is on the Linclon, they are off shore and not being bombed directly. They are an air craft carrier and since there is much bombing in Afghanistan the ship has not been able to let the sailors off for over two months. Thank you for your concerns.

Caroline, thank you for hosting the event at the wonderful new restaurant in Everett, Terracotta Red. The general manager, Allisa Hui, is a wonderfuld person, along with the great Asian Fusion cuisine the restaurant offers. I encourage everyone from Biznik to go check it out - 2820 Hewitt in Everett. I came away with some new marketing ideas for my catering business and met some great fellow Biznik members.

Thanks Caroline! A great event indeed. I met some wonderful new people, and came away with some great ideas.

I don't make it up to Everett very often, but I can tell you that I'll make a point to stop at Terracotta Red next time I'm there! What a great spot with great food! Thanks Allisa!

    Caroline,

Great event, great atmosphere. It is always fun to meet new people/Biznikers and share stories. The premise for the event is a great one. I look forward to doing this one again and I will try to bring another good idea.

I will keep Terracotta Red in mind when I am in the Everett area. Thanks for having us Allisa.

A great big thanks to everyone for attending. I had a blast meeting new friends and sharing marketing ideas. I think I will actually try the turkey idea out.

I'm thrilled everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Don't forget to use the coupons for next time :)

Caroline, thanks for finding me/Terracota Red and putting on a great event. Like you said, it was small, but MIGHTY!!

I will be sure to write to your son on the Lincoln and invite him for dinner when he arrives home safely. Until then, our best thoughts are with him and his--
