MAKING MOVIES AT YOUR HOUSE! I'm always looking for new locations to film. My clients, Microsoft, Alaska Air, McDonald's, NFL, Sonics, Seahawks, Cadillac, Washington Lotto, TV Series, and Movies all ask for locations such as Houses, Offices, and Cabins, and Stores. My most recent request was for a shoe store and a gym for the upcoming campaign, "Mudup" which promotes a cleaner Puget Sound. It's sponsored by People for Puget Sound, The Nature Conservancy, and The Trust of Public Land. Now you can make some good money and have fun with a filming project.

Why is the rental of my location Tax Free? Here's some information you may find helpful when you get filming at your home. According to the IRS, if you own a home and you rent it out for filming, the rental payments you receive are tax free for up to 14 days a year. This can be verified at the Internal Revenue Service website in the "Frequently Asked Questions" section. Excerpt from the IRS website: "There is a special rule if you use a dwelling as a home and rent it for fewer than 15 days. In this case, do not report any of the rental income and do not deduct any expenses as rental expenses."
