  • Thanks Gentlemen

I appreciate the positive feedback. And yes SEO needs to be well planned before you even think of creating a new website. A lot of clients have no clue.

I have seen clients pay thousands of dollars to have a website designed with all the bells and whistles and they forget the most important thing is content and tag descriptions.

Simple, sure but the web design company forgets to add those things. And if the client wonders why their site has no traffic especially since they just forked out tons of $ well... you know the answer now. Gabriella

  • Honesty, integrity, and the joi de vivre that is wonderful. Always think ahead with passion. I cannot tell you how many times I have woken up in a sweat afraid of what the next day may bring... It's called success. AS hard as we have worked for it we deserve it. Thanks for reminding me of that!

  • Hello Zeke

Thanks for sharing your insight. One thing I did want to add (if I may) about your call to action... I read an article recently that brought up these points. You're familiar with the language used: "act now and we'll send you two pieces of junk you don't need, but wait there's more, call in the next ten minutes and we'll add a third useless item."

Does any intelligent person really respond to this kind of pitch, and what self-respecting business would actually behave in this manner? The fact is, if you sell something of value at a reasonable price, and you treat your customers with some respect, you will get your share of business.

You may not get all the business, nobody does, but the business you do get, will result in more satisfied customers, more word-of-mouth referrals, and ultimately more sales.

    Happy New Year! Gabriella

  • Steve yes, and there is nothing wrong with deep linking. For example if you are discussing a topic you have blogged about lets say 1 month ago you can "deep link" to that blog on the current blog post.

Those are deep links and believe it or not they keep your pages alive. Don't over do it but it can be subtle within the text. Just the keyword... I hope that helps. Thanks for reading Steve. Happy Holidays to all Bizniks!! Gabriella

  • I enjoyed reading your article, Twitter has helped our company with gaining more organic traffic. I can see them in our log files. That is not to say we have received any work from them but we have been able to get more readers. Again thanks for the great info. Gabriella

  • Hello Marta The best way to find any links that are associated with your website is to go to any search engines and type in link:yourwebsite.com that will pull all pages that are associated with yours. Sometimes adding a space between the ":" gives you a different result so I would try both.

Hello Chrystal thanks for the 10 ;) and the invite I unfortunately or fortunately go home (Italy) for the holidays it looks like I may have a chance to leave the office for 2 weeks. Umm maybe not lol. Keep me updated on your events. Gabriella

  • Mark Thanks for confirming what we have been doing.. Unfortunately we have had to take the next step and hire an attorney to "collect".

Problem sometimes is how you deliver work. We now spend extra funds from our profit to ensure that our work is "track-able" since Paypal can and has removed funds deposited by a client. Sure we finally got those funds back but it took 3 months and many phone calls.

But we learned that our "services" were not "track-able" now we send all work of $300 or more via a CD with a tracking number. Gabriella
